Three people, including a father and his son, died after falling into a well inside a house in Jaghfarabad Machhi area of Rustam tehsil in Mardan.

According to Rescue 1122 and local sources, 12-year-old Shah Room fell into the well. His father, Ijaz, climbed into the well to rescue him, but after some time, there was no response from him.

A neighbor, Alf Zada, also entered the well to rescue the father and son but lost consciousness due to poisonous gas inside the well.

After being informed, a Rescue 1122 team reached the site and retrieved all three men from the well during a rescue operation. They were shifted to a hospital, where doctors confirmed their deaths.

The deceased were identified as 12-year-old Shah Room, his father Ijaz, and their neighbor Alf Zada.
