Police Officers Protest Against Rising Violence in Lakki Marwat

Protesting police officers, gathered on the Indus Highway, expressed frustration over the increasing frequency of attacks on their personnel and criticized security forces and other agencies for their failure to maintain law and order.

Lakki Marwat: Police officers in Lakki Marwat have launched a protest against the rising wave of violence in the region. Protesting police officers, gathered on the Indus Highway, expressed frustration over the increasing frequency of attacks on their personnel and criticized security forces and other agencies for their failure to maintain law and order.

According to protesting police officers, they were compelled to take to the streets due to the continuous assaults on their ranks. They abandoned their duties to join the protest, and soon, administrative staff members also joined in solidarity, leaving their posts to participate.

They demanded that the police force be empowered to effectively combat the situation. "The current government and officials have failed to protect police personnel. All 'irrelevant officers' should immediately vacate the control room and police lines," one protestor declared.

The protest was marked by strong slogans against the authorities. After gathering at the police lines, the demonstrators moved to the Peshawar-Karachi Indus Highway, continuing their protest to demand better security and protection.
