Policeman Killed by Unknown Assailants in Bajaur Market

This tragic event comes shortly after a police officer was similarly shot dead by unknown assailants while en route to polio duty in Peshawar.

Policeman Wali Khan was shot and killed by unknown assailants in Inayat Kali Bazaar, Bajaur. According to DSP Abdul Aziz, the incident occurred around 10 o'clock while the police constable was shopping in Shahwali Market. The assailants opened fire indiscriminately, killing Wali Khan on the spot.

Following the attack, the perpetrators managed to escape. A heavy police force quickly surrounded the area and initiated a search operation. An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
