PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar has said that PTI founder Imran Khan is facing health issues, and therefore a request has been made to the Chief Justice to schedule the hearing of his case at the earliest.

Speaking to the media, Barrister Gohar said that the public wants change in the current political system and that PTI will hold a peaceful march on September 27. He said no government resources would be used for the march.

He expressed hope that Maulana Fazlur Rehman and other opposition parties would also participate in the September 27 march. According to Barrister Gohar, the public wants democratic change and fresh elections and has also grown tired of political tensions and divisions.

Regarding the creation of new provinces, he said there should be no haste in the matter, as it could have negative consequences.

Referring to the incident at the nursing college, Barrister Gohar said students should not be subjected to police violence. He said the relevant SHO had been suspended and that peaceful protesters should not be subjected to violence.

He also objected to the statement made by the Punjab Chief Minister regarding the provinces and demanded that the Punjab Chief Minister withdraw her remarks.
