Security forces killed five India-sponsored Khawarij during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in North Waziristan's Razmak area, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The military's media wing said the operation was launched on the basis of credible intelligence. During the operation, security forces successfully neutralized five India-sponsored Khawarij.

ISPR stated that Major Hafiz Ehsan Elahi embraced martyrdom during an intense exchange of fire. He led his troops from the front and fought bravely while commanding the operation.

According to ISPR, weapons and ammunition were recovered from the slain militants. The killed Khawarij were allegedly involved in terrorist attacks against security forces and law enforcement agencies, as well as the killing of innocent civilians.
