Severe Heat Wave Hits Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

According to the meteorological department, Peshawar's temperature is forecasted to reach 40 degrees Celsius today, while Dera Ismail Khan is expected to hit 45 degrees Celsius.

A severe heat wave has begun in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with temperatures expected to soar across the province. According to the meteorological department, Peshawar's temperature is forecasted to reach 40 degrees Celsius today, while Dera Ismail Khan is expected to hit 45 degrees Celsius.

The heat wave is anticipated to affect southern districts, including Dera Ismail Khan, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, and Karak. By May 27, temperatures in these areas are projected to rise significantly.

Throughout the week, temperatures in the province are predicted to be 4 to 6 degrees Celsius above normal, with Peshawar likely experiencing highs of up to 46 degrees Celsius.

Residents are advised to take precautions against the extreme heat, stay hydrated, and avoid unnecessary exposure to the sun during peak hours. 

The meteorological department will continue monitoring the situation and providing necessary updates.
