The price of gold in Pakistan has crossed Rs437,000 per tola after a historic increase of Rs10,000, reaching a new record high.

Both local and international bullion markets witnessed another sharp and unusual rise in gold and silver prices, pushing gold to an all-time high.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold climbed by Rs10,000 per tola to Rs437,936.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs8,573, taking it to Rs375,459.

Silver prices also moved higher, with the price per tola rising by Rs273 to Rs6,624.

In the international bullion market, gold gained $100 per ounce, reaching $4,155 per ounce, a surge that has significantly impacted Pakistan's local gold market.
