The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued an alert for most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, warning of rain, strong winds, dust storms, and hailstorms from tomorrow until June 20.
According to the PDMA, upper and central districts of the province are expected to receive rain accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds. There is also a risk of landslides in vulnerable areas of Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, and Kohistan.
The authority warned that strong winds, hailstorms, and lightning could damage crops, orchards, power infrastructure, and weak structures, urging citizens to take precautionary measures.

PDMA has directed all district administrations to complete preventive arrangements in advance, ensure preparedness for any emergency situation, and keep all relevant departments on alert.
Tourists have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel during adverse weather conditions and exercise caution near mountainous areas, rivers, streams, and locations prone to landslides.
The authority has also advised farmers to protect their crops and livestock, while rescue and relief agencies have been instructed to remain alert and ensure a swift response in case of any emergency.
