Three separate security-related incidents were reported in Bannu, where a government school teacher and a retired Frontier Corps (FC) official were abducted, while two FC personnel were injured in an alleged drone attack on a police station.

According to police, unidentified armed men abducted a government school teacher, Nisar, from the Mandio area within the jurisdiction of Miryan Police Station. The assailants reportedly held him at gunpoint, forced him into a vehicle, and took him to an unknown location. Police have registered an initial report and launched an investigation.

In another incident, retired Frontier Corps official Ali Mar Khan was allegedly kidnapped by unidentified armed men from his village in the jurisdiction of Jani Khel Police Station. Police have registered a case and initiated efforts to recover the abducted individual and arrest those responsible.

Meanwhile, alleged militants carried out an attack on the Hovid Police Station using a quadcopter drone. According to police, two projectiles fired from the drone landed inside the police station compound and exploded, injuring two FC personnel. The injured officials were immediately shifted to a hospital, where they are receiving medical treatment.

Police and other law enforcement agencies have begun investigations into all three incidents. Efforts are underway to recover the abducted individuals and identify those involved in the drone attack.
