Three suspects involved in the shooting of Kohistan Session Judge Farid Khan in Haripur have been arrested, while one remains at large.
The incident occurred last night within the jurisdiction of the City Police Station. Haripur DPO Farhan Khan took immediate notice of the attack, directing the police to take swift action.
According to sources, a case was registered against four named suspects under sections 324, 34, and 109 of the Pakistan Penal Code. Following the registration of the FIR, SHO Ejaz Ali of City Police Station led a police team in arresting the suspects—Ghayur, Shabbir (son of Farid Khan), and Shahbaz (son of Ilyas)—all residents of Chohar.
The motives behind the shooting remain unclear, but investigations are ongoing, and further details are expected to emerge soon.
