In a heartbreaking incident in the Ghundi Wali Khel area of Jamrud, three children tragically lost their lives after drowning in a water pond. Upon receiving the distress call, Rescue 1122 teams swiftly arrived at the scene.
Rescue 1122, along with residents, immediately retrieved the children from the pond and rushed them to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, the doctors confirmed that all three children—Mudassir (7 years old), Aryan (4 years old), and Sumbal (5 years old)—had passed away.

District Emergency Officer Engineer Shariq Riaz Khattak confirmed the incident, stating that Rescue 1122 is providing all possible assistance and that measures are being taken to prevent such tragedies in the future.
It is noteworthy that incidents of children drowning in Jamrud have been reported frequently, highlighting the urgent need for safety measures in the area.
