Six people, including five women, lost their lives, and three others were injured when a vehicle fell into a deep ditch in Battikot, Union Council Meera of Tehsil Bisham in Shangla.
According to the police, the nine individuals traveling in the Prado Jeep were from the same family. They were on their way home when the vehicle's brakes failed, causing it to veer off the link road and plunge into a deep ditch.
Among the deceased are Iqbal Rawan, his wife, and four other women. The injured include a man named Rashid, a woman, and a three-year-old girl. They are currently receiving medical treatment at Bisham Hospital.

Residents retrieved the bodies and the injured from the ditch and transported them to Bisham Hospital. The mountainous terrain complicated the relief efforts.
Shangla is a hilly and underdeveloped district with poor road conditions, contributing to such tragic accidents.
