Two women were killed and another woman injured in a shooting incident stemming from a domestic dispute in the Gogiyal area of Upper Dir.

According to family sources, the suspect, Nawab, allegedly locked his wife, sister, and sister-in-law in a room before opening fire on them. As a result, his wife and sister died on the spot, while his sister-in-law sustained injuries and was immediately shifted to Wari Hospital for treatment.

Sources said that the suspect works as a laborer in Saudi Arabia and had returned home on vacation. He was scheduled to leave for Saudi Arabia this evening but fled the scene after the incident.

Police said a case has been registered and efforts are underway to arrest the suspect. Further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
