In South Waziristan’s Wana tehsil, the Tojikhel tribe has announced the formation of a 600-member lashkar (tribal force) following mosque announcements made early Friday morning.
According to the announcements, the tribe decided to stand alongside Malik Jameel and directed all concerned individuals to join the lashkar immediately. Tribal elders warned that anyone failing to participate at the designated time would face a fine of Rs1 million and could also be expelled from the tribe for violating the collective decision.
The Tojikhel elders described the move as a matter of tribal unity and collective responsibility, urging all members of the tribe to comply with the decision.
