A woman and a man were killed in the name of so-called honour in the Upper Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday. 

The incident occurred in the Siyasan area of Dir Upper, where the accused, identified as Zafar son of Majeed Khan, allegedly opened fire, killing Aurangzeb son of Bahadur and Kishar Bibi, wife of Abdul Qayyum, on the spot.

Police said the bodies of both victims were shifted to Patrak Hospital for post-mortem examination. 

Following the incident, the suspect managed to flee the scene, while police have registered a case and launched raids to arrest him.
