In a significant operation in Balochistan's Zhob district, security forces neutralized 15 militants during an intelligence-based operation in the Sambaza area on December 10, 2024.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation targeted the militants’ hideout effectively. A heavy exchange of fire ensued, resulting in the elimination of 15 militants. The forces also recovered a large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the site.
During the operation, Sepoy Arif Rehman (32), hailing from Mansehra district, embraced martyrdom while displaying exceptional bravery.

Security forces are conducting a sanitization operation to neutralize any remaining militants.
The ISPR reaffirmed the commitment of Pakistan's security forces to eradicate terrorism with the unwavering support of the nation. It emphasized that the sacrifices of brave soldiers strengthened this resolve to rid the country of the menace of terrorism.
