In Lakki Marwat’s Dadiwala police jurisdiction, security forces successfully repelled a terrorist attack on Abbasah Checkpost, killing one militant while another fled the scene.
According to police, a routine patrol of the Abbasa police mobile van came under sudden attack by terrorists armed with sophisticated weapons near Abbasa and Shahab Khel. The police retaliated swiftly, resulting in the death of one militant, while the others managed to escape, leaving their slain comrade behind.
One police officer sustained minor injuries in the exchange of fire and was immediately taken to a hospital, where he is reported to be out of danger.

Following the attack, DPO Lakki Marwat Muhammad Jawad Ishaq ordered a heavy police contingent to cordon off the area and launch a search operation to track down the fleeing terrorists.
Inspector General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, Zulfiqar Hameed, praised the bravery and swift action of the police force. He announced commendation certificates and cash rewards for the officers, vowing that such cowardly attacks would not weaken the morale of KP police.
This attack comes a day after a deadly blast at Dar-ul-Uloom Haqqania in Akora Khattak, Nowshera, where JUI-S leader Maulana Hamid-ul-Haq and four others were killed. Additionally, a separate explosion in Samma Mamozai Bazaar, Orakzai, claimed one life and injured four others.
