Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister has outlined the provincial government's priorities for the new fiscal year, directing cabinet members and administrative secretaries to ensure transparent governance, speedy implementation of development projects, and improved public service delivery.
According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister's spokesperson, Sohail Afridi, the chief minister said the government would adopt a zero-tolerance policy against corruption, warning that corruption and malpractice at any level would not be tolerated.
He instructed authorities to eliminate all avenues of corruption and ordered indiscriminate action against corrupt and incompetent officials, regardless of their influence or political backing.
The chief minister emphasized that the true measure of departmental performance would be public satisfaction, stating that even the best presentations would hold no value if people remained dissatisfied with government services.

To strengthen public outreach, he directed all provincial ministers to visit at least seven districts every month, interact directly with citizens, and ensure prompt resolution of public issues.
He also announced that he would personally review public complaints and their resolution on a daily basis, warning that officials responsible for unnecessary delays would face strict disciplinary action.
The chief minister instructed ministers to prepare regular schedules for district visits and directed every government department to establish its own complaint cell linked with the Chief Minister's Complaint Cell.
He further ordered immediate and priority implementation of the government's signature projects reflecting the vision of former prime minister Imran Khan, while directing all departments to accelerate work on development schemes included in the Annual Development Programme (ADP).
The chief minister also instructed departments to complete all ongoing DFC schemes during the current fiscal year and prepare clear timelines for newly approved development projects.
Emphasizing administrative efficiency, he directed that any communication from the Chief Minister's Secretariat must receive a result-oriented response within 24 hours.
He urged ministers, advisers, and administrative secretaries to strengthen coordination and ensure that all decisions are made through consultation, merit, and transparency.
The chief minister also directed all departments to develop effective communication strategies to keep the public informed about government reforms and development initiatives.
According to spokesperson Sohail Afridi, the chief minister said the performance of ministers and departments would be reviewed again after three months, with rewards and disciplinary action to be decided based on compliance with the directives.
