Pakistani security forces have released a video statement from a detained militant, Umar Din alias Jazba, who claimed that the group referred to by Pakistani authorities as Fitna al-Khawarij receives financial support and weapons from commanders based in Afghanistan.

In the video, Umar Din said that he joined the group after a dispute with his father. According to him, weapons are transported from Afghanistan into Pakistan, and each key commander in the organization is accompanied by 60 to 70 Afghan fighters. He further stated that he received training in Afghanistan in the use of various weapons, including rocket launchers.

The detained militant claimed that the network was involved in an attack on the Shadi Khel base and in an explosion on the Kotah Khwah Road, in which seven police personnel were martyred during the month of Ramadan.

Umar Din alias Jazba said that the group's commanders mislead young people in the name of enforcing Sharia and carrying out jihad, even though, according to him, their actions have no connection with Islamic teachings.

He also alleged that some members of the organization are involved in drug use and other illegal activities. According to his statement, the group is engaged in extortion, vehicle snatching, and kidnapping for ransom.

The detained militant appealed to young people not to be influenced by the group's narrative and claims, and instead to consider the facts and stay away from such organizations.
