Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, clarified that no decision has been made regarding a civil disobedience movement. Addressing the media in Dera Ismail Khan, he accused the government of orchestrating violence against their workers during the D-Chowk protests under Section 245, resulting in the martyrdom of 12 workers and leaving 107 unaccounted for.

Gandapur criticized the media for not covering the funerals of their martyrs and expressed concerns about the missing workers. He claimed thousands of party workers had been detained or injured but emphasized that their sacrifices would not go in vain.

Referring to the protests, he vowed to continue the struggle, comparing their efforts to Mahmood of Ghazni’s repeated campaigns, stating, “We have already carried out five strikes and will persist like Mahmood Ghaznavi’s 17 attacks.”

Gandapur also denounced the alleged collaboration between PPP and PML-N to incite unrest in the country and steal their mandate, accusing the government of spreading hatred and pushing the country towards a civil war.

On All Parties Conference (APC) called by the KP Governor, Gandapur dismissed it as inconsequential, remarking, “The governor has no role; I curse his APC.”

Regarding the registration of madrassas, he supported incorporating worldly education alongside religious studies, emphasizing the importance of madrassa registration.

Responding to claims by PTI founder Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi, that she was abandoned during the D-Chowk protest, Gandapur refuted the allegations. He stated, “I was with her the entire time during the protest; if she’s referring to someone else, she should clarify.”

Bushra Bibi had previously mentioned being left alone during the D-Chowk incident, asserting, “I am not a woman who runs away.”

It’s worth noting that on November 26, security forces cleared protestors from Islamabad, during which CM Gandapur and Bushra Bibi reportedly fled to Mansehra. The police detained hundreds of demonstrators in the operation.
