Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi, has inaugurated the Police Sahulat Markaz (PSM) App, the Kinetic Police Action Dashboard, and several other modern digital policing initiatives. These platforms will provide multiple police services to the public through a single integrated system.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony, the Chief Minister said that the use of modern technology is making the police system more transparent, efficient, and accountable. He directed authorities to launch an effective awareness campaign so that citizens can fully benefit from the new police services.

Officials briefed participants that a digital system for the online registration of FIRs has been activated across the province. An online complaint management system has also been introduced, allowing citizens to submit complaints through a toll-free number, WhatsApp, Facebook, SMS, and other channels.

The Chief Minister also inaugurated the Kinetic Police Action Dashboard, which will enable real-time monitoring, province-wide reporting, and faster implementation of various policing operations. Dedicated service desks have also been established for different police services.

According to the briefing, a “Missing Persons/Children Search Portal” has been launched to help locate and recover missing children. Victims of gender-based violence can now register their complaints online, while a “Pink Button” feature has been introduced to provide immediate assistance to women and children in emergency situations.

Citizens will now be able to obtain Police Character Certificates and Clearance Certificates from home through online services. Biometric verification and online payment facilities have also been introduced. The process for obtaining and renewing driving licenses has been simplified, and citizens will be able to use their driving licenses digitally on their mobile phones.

In addition, a unified verification system has been introduced for the online verification of licenses, traffic challans, and other police documents. Special complaint portals have also been established for the transgender community and religious minorities. Furthermore, the KPCOP Mobile App has been launched to improve the field performance of police officers.

Chief Minister Sohail Afridi stated that these initiatives represent a major step toward bringing police services to citizens’ doorsteps and providing quick, convenient, and effective public services. He also directed the relevant authorities to ensure the effective implementation of all newly launched online systems.
