Sources further revealed that a meeting was held between Pakistani and Afghan officials to ease tensions, but no breakthrough was achieved.
It is important to note that the Torkham border has remained closed for the past 10 days due to a dispute over construction work, severely affecting daily life and cross-border trade. Bilateral trade between Pakistan and Afghanistan has been completely halted, bringing commercial activities on both sides of the border to a standstill.
