Islamabad – The bodies of six more Pakistani victims of the Libya boat tragedy have arrived in Islamabad. A day earlier, six bodies were also repatriated and transported to Peshawar. Today, the bodies of nine victims will be taken to Parachinar for burial in their ancestral graveyards.
According to MNA Hamid Hussain, the first flight yesterday brought back the bodies of Muhammad Ali Shah from Orakzai, along with Mussawir Hussain, Shoaib Ali, Abid Hussain, Mosaib Hussain, and another Shoaib Ali from Parachinar.
Following this, six more Pakistani victims were repatriated, including Haider Saqlain, Asif Ali, Ashfaq Hussain, and Nusrat Hussain from Parachinar, Sirajuddin from Bajaur, and Anis Khan from Peshawar.

Hussain further stated that four more bodies would arrive in Islamabad tomorrow morning.
According to the Foreign Office, 16 Pakistani victims of the February 5 boat tragedy in Libya have been identified so far, while 10 others remain missing.
Yesterday, due to road blockades and adverse weather conditions, the bodies could not be transported to Parachinar. However, arrangements have now been made to airlift the deceased to Parachinar via helicopter for burial.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Ali Shah from Orakzai was laid to rest in his native graveyard after funeral prayers were offered yesterday.
At Peshawar Airport, the bodies of the victims were received by Provincial Minister Malik Nek Muhammad. On the directives of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, special helicopter arrangements have been made to transport the deceased to their respective hometowns.
Additionally, the Chief Minister has announced a Shuhada package of Rs. 1 million for the families of each victim.
