Pakistan’s security forces killed 22 militants during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Bannu district on 24 November, the military’s media wing said on Tuesday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), troops launched the operation after receiving intelligence reports about the presence of militants associated with what it described as an “Indian-supported extremist network.”

Security personnel targeted the hideout and engaged the militants in a heavy exchange of fire, resulting in the deaths of 22 fighters.
